Breckland 10k 2018 – Record breaking temperatures

Thetford Athletics Club hosted the annual Breckland 10k in record breaking hot temperatures of 26 degrees on Monday 7th May 2018. The race attracted a large turnout with over 280 athletes braving the hot temperatures. Thetford Athletes gathered at a very warm and sunny King’s Lynn on Sunday 6th May for the annual Gear 10k. TAC Represented at Virgin London Marathon

Clare Slattery represented TAC at the Virgin London Marathon 2018. In record breaking temperatures of 26 degrees Clare completed her first ever marathon in 6hr 27mins. Thetford Athletes Perform at Colchester Sprint Triathlon

Thetford Athletes braved the cold and wind at Colchester Sprint Triathlon last weekend. Simon and Charlotte Smith were victorious with Simon finishing 1st overall 1:03:12 and Charlotte 1st female in 1:09:31. Gary Malliband also completed the 400m pool swim, 20k bike and 5k run in 1:12:00 to finish a highly creditable 8th male. . .

First time triathletes at Bury St Edmunds

Thetford Athletics Club athletes Richard Crewe and Tracey Cady took on their first ever triathlon in Bury St.Edmunds at the weekend.
