There were plenty of TAC vests on show today as Thetford runners competed at the Tarpley 10 and 20 mile events in Beyton near Bury St Edmunds. Under clear blue skies in glorious warm February sunshine the club runners put in a great performance on the undulating road courses. Gary Malliband was the first TAC member back for the 10 mile race in 1:13:46 (pb) and 12th in his age group. Other age group results included Charlotte Smith 1:15:03 (2nd), Steve Dickens 1:25:28 (14th) and Sean West 1:16:19 (22nd)
In the 20 mile race it was Sabine Schaefer first back for the club in 2:32:24 and 3rd in her age group. Natalie King followed in 2:52:00 (5th), Andrew Smith 3:08:26 (16th), Kelly McGill 3:14:36 (14th), Shirley Standley 3:19:03 (20th) and Kayleigh Bailey 3:59:21 (16th).
