Lauren Goldsmith completed her 100th marathon yesterday at the annual Breckland Forest Marathon, she finished in 5:56:51.
Lauren’s first marathon was in February 2015 – Enigma Quadzilla, which was actually 4 marathons in 4 days! Her fastest marathon was Chester marathon in October 2018 4:37:47. Lauren says her most enjoyable marathon was the Poppy line marathon which is a scenic 26 miles through Sheringham and Cromer. And her most challenging one……. Well there has been lots but Lauren believes it was probably the Chester Marathon in 2015 when she had injury problems and had to hobble for 10 miles to the finish. Congratulations Lauren on achieving 100 marathons.
