WESTMINSTER MILE
Three Thetford AC junior athletes travelled to London to take part in the British Mile Road Championships which was part of the Vitality Westminster Mile event.
The route saw the athletes start at Green Park and finish outside Buckingham Palace.
In the U17 Women’s race and taking part in her first road race, Jessica Norkett finished in 6th place in a time of 5:25.
In their first experience of the Westminster Mile James Peck took part in the U15 Boys race, finishing in 11th place (4:47) whilst Ben Peck finished 4th (4:57) in the U13 Boys race.
This was a great experience for the athletes, running in an iconic location.
