Thetford athletes were greeted with unexpected warm sunny conditions at the weekend for the annual Thompson 5 & 10k. The routes are a mix of off-road and tarmac and in the 5k Thetfords Kevin Vaughhan was 3rd male in 20:02, David Loomes followed in 20:52 and James Wooler 22:23. Lauren Goldsmith finished as 1st female in the 5k in 25:23.
In the 10k event it was Louise White from Thetford AC as 1st female in 42:28 and Sabine Schaefer claiming 3rd place in 49:05. Peter Elliott finished in 47:06 and Paul White in 56:51.
