Thetford AC were represented at the first time OSB Outlaw X event. The half ironman was held at Thoresby Hall near Newark Notts at the weekend. The triathletes were not blessed with the warm conditions of Norfolk and did complete much of the scenic 1.9k swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run in torrential rain. First back for Thetford and 9th female overall (1st in age group) was Charlotte Smith in 5:06:35, next was Karl Wright in only his second triathlon at this distance in 5:36:31 and then followed by Jim Mockford in 6:47:13.
