Snetterton Track Racing News

On a chilly, windy April evening TAC runners were finally able to get back to racing at the Snetterton 5 and 10k track races. Fastest Thetford runner in the 10k was Gary Malliband finishing in 41:35 for a new PB and 19^th place in his age group. He was followed shortly after by Chris Greenough in 42:22 for 23^rd in the same 40-49 age category. Barry Smith completed the course in 47:09 and Andy Fleet in 49:47 followed by Nicola Greenough in 50:04. Linda Cusack was victorious in her age group (60-69) finishing in 52:15. Anna Hayward followed in 54:52. Four runners Carri Vendy, Kelly McGill, Suzanne Fleet and Kayleigh Bailey all ran together with a finishing time of 1:07:32. David Loomes was the sole Thetford runner in the 5k completing the track course in 17:51 for 17^th place in his age group.
