Simon Smith was at Grafham Water at the weekend taking part in the Grafham Middle Distance Triathlon. In his first triathlon in 2 years (due to covid) it was great to be back racing at the event which consisted of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. Weather conditions were ideal on the undulating bike course with light winds and the temperature warmed up for the run. Simon completed the course in a time of 4:36:03 for 5th in his age group and a personal best at that distance.
