Thetford AC had the pleasure of hosting a coaching session by newly retired Team GB 800m athlete Jenny Meadows and her husband Trevor Painter, who is also the current U20 Team GB coach.
Throughout her career Jenny has won 7 major championship medals and is the 4th fastest British female 800m athlete.
After recently retiring she has now turned her attention to coaching and inspiring the next generation of athletes along with being a pacemaker in major races.
The husband and wife team delivered a running mechanics workshop along with a question and answer session for all junior and senior members which proved a great experience and insight for everyone at the club and something which all members will benefit from.
