Phill Bower from TAC and colleague Mark Jacklin took on the Suffolk Trail Festival 24 hour run to raise money for St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds. At the weekend they took turns to run one 8km lap before handing over to the other and vice versa for the whole 24 hour period. They achieved their goal of 200km which gained them first place in the 2 man team event for running the furthest distance. The route was a beautiful cross country loop and was more undulating than expected. They received much support along their journey from fellow runners, locals and also a visit from a representative from the Hospice.
