Thetford AC members Steve Dickens and Simon Smith competed in the beautiful setting of Holkham Hall at the OSB Half Ironman 70.3 event. The event attracted over 1200 competitors and began with a 1900m lake swim continuing into an undulating bike ride of 56 miles followed by a blistering hot 13.1 mile run. Both did amazingly well in the hot conditions, Steve finishing in 6:02:36 and Simon in 4:47:44 (5th in age group).
