Sabine Schaefer and Simon Smith travelled to Hertfordshire on a sunny but breezy day to take part in the Storm the Lakes event – a 7.5k continuous lake swim, the equivalent of 300 lengths of a standard swimming pool. Sabine finished in 2:34:40 to collect 3rd place female and Simon finished in 2:26:04 to finish 9th overall.
