Simon and Charlotte Smith were both successful in winning the Eastern Regional Triathlon League Age Group Series 2018. To qualify for a chance to win this triathletes must compete in a minimum of 3 league races and at least one race must be sprint distance and another one standard distance or longer. Simon topped the leader board in his age category with Gary Malliband 4th in his first year in the league. Karl Wright was 19th and Steve Dickens 98th. Charlotte Smith was first female in her age group. All of the TAC members points from these races are then put into a club league and considering Thetford’s small triathlon group we came a very impressive 7th club out of 56!
