Thetford AC have signed up to the sport England child protection

Code of conduct.

1: Always make sure there is another adult present at

coaching sessions.

2: It is not acceptable to transport juniors (in the sport

England guide lines, juniors are under 18) unaccompanied

by another adult.

4: Coaches must be CRB checked, if you have completed a

coaching course you should have completed the form.

This must also be kept up to date.

5: It is inappropriate to provide financial aid or gifts to

junior members directly. The club committee must be

consulted, and any offer of aid made in the name of

Thetford Athletic Club.

6: All coaches must have attended a good practice and

child protection course within the last 5 years.
