Gt Yarmouth warm up meeting on Thursday 21st April
Just to let you know 3 of our members competed at the Gt Yarmouth warm up meeting on Thursday 21st April in the evening. All three gained personal bests in all their events.
Joe Kirton (U20 men) came 1st in 3000m with 10.10.6min and 1st in 600m with 1.34.1min
Andrew Johnson (U17 men) came 5th in 3000m with 10.46.1min - his first ever track competition.
Rhys Tyler (Senior men) cam 4th in 75m with 10.4sec and 1st in 600m with 1.34.6min

Stacey Owen ran in the Grim 2 beast in the east 10lm in Swanley, Kent and finished with a time of 55.58min
Norfolk County Championships - Kings Lynn 15th May 2011
Some of our junior members competed in the Norfolk County Championships held at Kings Lynn on Sunday 15th May. It was windy and cold but they all did well, with some personal bests. Joe Kirton came 1st in 800m for U20 men and was presented with a shield and medal and Joe Smythe for U11 boys came 3rd in 600m and 80m getting 2 medals. The results are as follows:-

Today, several junior members competed in the Norfolk Schools at Norwich. We had some very good results, with Ryan ans Abbie qualifying to compete in Anglian schools next week.

Norfolk County Championships - Norwich 26 June 2011
On Sunday 26th June, Joe Kirton competed in the Norfolk County Championships at Norwich. He became U20 mens County champion in the 1500m with a pb of 4.37.5min.
