Three more of Thetford’s runners braved the wet and very windy conditions at the weekend to complete the Cambridge Boundary Marathon. The course which is 30% off-road and incorporates several hills was significantly harder with added adverse weather conditions. Sabine Schaefer achieved a pb by 7mins by finishing in a very impressive 3:36:19 and 4th female. Phill Bower followed shortly in 3:43:20 again another huge pb and 92nd place overall. Lauren Goldsmith completed in 5:52:00, her 3rd marathon in 3 weeks.
