Racing was back over the weekend at the National British Duathlon Championships in Yorkshire. Held at the Croft racing circuit the standard distance race comprised of a 10k run, 40k bike followed by a 5k run. Race conditions were perfect with warm temperatures and light winds. The course included some fast laps of the race course on the bike but also an exciting undulating part on public roads. First home for TAC was Simon Smith after a strong race in a finishing time of 2:03:07 and an impressive 5th in his 45-49 age group. Charlotte Smith followed in 2:21:01 for 3rd place in her age group (40-44) and Steve Dickens finished in 2:30:18 for 21st place in the 55-59 age group.
