Runners from Thetford AC achieved some amazing times at the Vitality Westminster mile and Vitality 10k at the weekend. They were able to see sporting legends Mo Farah and Jo Pavey who took part in the 10k and also managed to grab a photo with Olympian Jessica Ennis. Natalie King clocked a very impressive 10k pb in 42:53, Jason Elrick 42:13, Richard Crewe 43:29, Andrew Smith 50:59, Kayleigh Bailey 54:59. The race attracted a huge turnout with 17,000 entries and started on The Mall and finished opposite Buckingham Palace taking in many famous sights including Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Richard, Natalie, Sam Belotti and Kayleigh also took part in the Westminster mile and clocked some very fast mile splits – Richard 6:00, Natalie 6:05, Sam 5:32, Kayleigh 7.10
