Thetford runners were out in force during the heatwave at the East Harling 10k on Sunday 1st July. Nine members of TAC took on the annual event hosted by Harling AC with a record 339 finishers. First home for Thetford was Jason Elrick in 43:34 followed closely by Karl Wright 43:37. TAC’s first female finisher was Sabine Schaefer in 44:11 (course pb and 2nd in age group) with Natalie King next in 44:48 (pb and 3rd in age group). Other results were – Richard Crewe 44:09, Stacey Owen 51:34, Linda Cusack 52:16, Kelly Mcgill 54:21, Martin Godfrey 56:42
